Robert Hance

 

Robert has c30 years of experience with leading financial organisations in London and possesses a strong network of contacts internationally. He founded Business Angel Capital, a leading UK network of private investors helping hundreds of start-up and early stage businesses, and in 2007 was a pioneer of the $multi-billion crowdfunding industry with Venture Television. Recently he was General Manager of a multi-national Family Office business across 12 locations. He has been involved with international macroeconomic financial research and development and now focuses on the Venture Capital, Alternative Investments, and the Consulting areas of 33Capital.

Ian Morley

Ian runs Wentworth Hall Consulting. He is the author of Morley's Laws of Business and Fund Management and one of the leading global figures and pioneers in the development of the Hedge Fund Industry. He ran one of Europe’s first and oldest Fund of Funds and subsequently helped build one of Europe’s largest privately owned Fund of Funds.  He has helped build manage, own, buy, sell and mentor start up businesses over the last twenty years. He founded and was elected the first Chairman of what is today known as The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), the world’s only truly global trade association for the Hedge Fund Industry. He has advised Central Banks, International Regulators and other International Organisations, such as the EU and OECD on matters related to Economics, Markets and Regulation.

Dr Stephen Leeb

Stephen is a world premier economist who has published a number of best-selling books including Red Alert. He has a track record of accurately predicting global economic events (for example, $100-a-barrel-oil and the dot.com bubble collapse). He runs the Leeb Group which publishes The Complete Investor (general investing); Leeb’s Real World Investing (commodities); and The Cash Cow (exchange-traded funds or ETFs). He is also Head of the Advisory Board of Leor Exploration & Production LLC (since 2006) and a member of the Advisory Boards of Electrum USA Ltd (since 2007) and Sunshine Silver Mines. The latter companies explore for natural resources, especially precious metals and energy. In 2007, Leor sold assets to Canadian-based Encana Cp. for over $2.5 billion. He is also a member of the Board and Managing Director of the PlainSight Group, an innovation company centred at Yale University.

Richard Hoblyn

Richard Hoblyn worked for Derby (estd 1797) as a bullion trader in the London Bullion Market in the late ‘70s and operated a gold investment theme during his time as a Private Client Stockbroker and Investment Manager from 1980-2012. His family stockbroking firm Hoblyn & King was established in 1872. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Investment Institute and coined the phrase “Pseudo Gold Standard” summarising the West’s inability to follow the lead in gold purchasing from the East.

Charles Dallemagne

Charles began his career by turning around a company in the European machine tools distribution sector. Having merged this company with a French group, he took equity stakes in various companies in sectors such as marketing, film production, electrical systems, pharmaceuticals, and others. He advised several Asian companies for civil equipment projects development. He has been involved with the venture capital industry for many years and runs consulting business Arenborg in addition to being involved with the running of several SMEs as Director or consultant. In 1999, he chaired a panel of experts and issued a report emphasizing the role of a genuine venture capital industry in the economic development of Brussels, as well as other regions in Europe. This report was well received by the Belgian government, economic circles and the media. From 2002, he was appointed special representative of the Minister for the Brussels Capital Region with a mission to take the necessary measures in order to improve the venture capital offering in the market.

Mark Gaskell

Mark was a Policy Officer in a Central Government Department and was responsible for using EU Funds within the UK. For the last 16 years he has worked in the Private Sector obtaining Grant and Government Aid (both from the EU and UK) for UK companies. Mark has also worked on EU Trans National Development Programmes via the EU Commission and has established programmes within Trans National Funding Frameworks. Mark runs Equity & Grant and has a team of associates across Europe.
